To commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Katie Tremmel, Director of Radiology at Crawford County Memorial Hospital, answers questions about life-saving practices of breast cancer screenings and early detection.

The conversation highlighted two of the simplest and most effective actions that a woman can take are performing a monthly breast exam and getting an annual mammogram. These steps are vital not only for personal health but also for the well-being of her family.
