Diabetes Awareness

November is Diabetes Awareness Month. Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your blood glucose, also called blood sugar, is too high. Sara Gaul, RN, is the Population Health Manager at CCMH. Sara discusses the risk factors, symptoms and treatments for people with diabetes and what can be done to prevent diabetes.
