Wintertime illnesses are typically those transmitted between people in close contact with one another. These illnesses include influenza, COVID, and RSV. Holiday celebrations are prime circumstances for these airborne illnesses to begin to propagate among families and others. Heather Rasmussen, Chief Quality and Ancillary Services Officer at CCMH, talks about the current state of these illnesses in the general population in Denison and Crawford County. Heather also discusses what we can do to prevent contracting these illnesses as we move forward into 2025.
