Andrew Rinek, MD, is a physician in the Emergency Department at Crawford County Memorial Hospital. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland and completed his Family Medicine residency at East Central Mississippi Health Network in Meridian, Mississippi.
Dr. Rinek previously practiced emergency medicine at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, where he also served as a Health Unit Coordinator. He is board eligible in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Dr. Rinek completed multiple deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan and brings a diverse professional background, including prior experience as a Chief Financial Officer for an international corporation based in Germany. Dr. Rinek is fluent in English and German and has advanced proficiency in Polish.
