Erin Schechinger, DNP, FNP-C, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Creighton University in 2013. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed through the Iowa Board of Nursing.
Erin provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. She has a special interest in preventive medicine and helping patients with chronic disease management.
Her approach to care is centered on partnership. Erin believes healthcare works best when patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their health. As a provider in a rural community, she values building long-term relationships and caring for the whole person—not just treating symptoms.
Outside of the clinic, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and five children, along with their cats, dogs, horses, and many chickens. She enjoys reading, caring for her plants, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
