Jamie Gross is a staff physical therapist at Crawford County Memorial Hospital. She has practiced physical therapy for over 17 years, all at Crawford County Memorial Hospital. Jamie holds of Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University.
Jamie is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT), and is trained in fitting of compression garments to decrease swelling, whether due to surgery or from cancer. She also has a certification in Health Services Administration. She is experienced with wound care, including dressing changes, unna boots, multi-layer compression and wound VACs. She enjoys seeing a range of patients from the infants to the elderly with multiple diagnoses. Jamie enjoys working with orthopedic patients, including those with acute pain, chronic pain, or surgery. Jamie enjoys working with neurologic deficits due to strokes, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis and many other diagnosis. Jamie enjoys treating patients with neck and back pain with McKenzie techniques, traction, and core stabilization.
Jamie and her husband, Dean, live by Irwin, Iowa on a farm with 2 children, Makayla and Nathan.
