Kiaya Alderson, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant in the CCMH Medical Clinic. Before becoming a PA, she gained valuable experience working as a patient care technician on a cardiopulmonary unit and as a medical scribe in an emergency room.
Kiaya earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of South Dakota and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University. Her professional interests include health promotion, chronic disease management, and preventive care for all ages. She strives to help each patient feel empowered and confident in their health.
Originally from rural southwest Minnesota, Kiaya has a strong appreciation for the value of rural healthcare and small-town connections. She is engaged to Macklin “Mac” Conrad, who also serves as a Physician Assistant in the CCMH Medical Clinic.
Outside of work, Kiaya enjoys spending time with family, playing volleyball, hiking, camping, and just about anything outdoors.
