Makayla Kintner has been a physical therapist assistant since 2009. She attained her degree from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. Makayla has been employed with CCMH since 2021. Prior to joining CCMH, Makayla had 12 years of experience working in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing home, and home health settings. Makayla enjoys working with a wide variety of patients. She specifically has passion for working with neurological disorders. Makayla is certified in LSVT BIG and ASTYM treatments. Other special interests of Makayla’s include aquatic therapy, fall prevention and balance training, and return to sports rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Makayla enjoys spending time with her family. She lives on an acreage outside of Harlan with her spouse and son. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, practicing yoga, and going on walks with her dog.
