Dr. Blount is an assistant professor in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She completed medical school at UNMC, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of North Carolina and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Washington University.
Her clinical interests include diabetes, hormone and endocrine care, medical weight management, osteoporosis, parathyroid and thyroid care. She is committed to patient outreach, telehealth services for rural communities, and the management of pituitary tumors and post-surgical endocrine care.
Dr. Blount typically sees patients (via telehealth) on the first and third Wednesday of each month.
