Tammy Hulsing is a certified speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders. She develops personalized therapy plans to improve speech clarity, language understanding, word use, and safe swallowing. Tammy works with individuals of all ages and provides compassionate education and counseling to patients and their families to help them navigate the challenges of communication difficulties with confidence and care.
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her advanced training includes assistive technology, autism, swallowing and voice disorders, therapy for head and neck cancer patients, and LSVT LOUD® for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
She has a special interest in working with adults experiencing swallowing and voice disorders, as well as children with a variety of communication needs.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband and three adult children. She also loves quilting, gardening, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
