Classes & Resources
CCMH provides many classes and resources on a variety of health topics.
Examples of classes available to the public
- Community CPR/1st Aid (Available upon request – Call 712-265-2795)
- Pre-Natal Classes (Call 712.265.2613 for more information)
- Diabetes Self-Management (Call 712.265.2744 for more information)
- Care Support Group meets on the second Thursday of every month from 3pm – 4pm in the CCMH Meeting Rooms. The Care Support Group is open to everyone

Overview
Community Education
Additionally, CCMH partners with other groups to provide community education. Health care provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS), and Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) courses offered throughout the year.
Examples include
- Job shadowing for high school students, work-based learning and career exploration (several times per semester)
- Denison Job Corps — Job shadowing and clinical hours for CNAs, Phlebotomy students
- WITCC Nursing Students at both the LPN and RN level.
- Annual Crawford County EMS Conference (Held annually in the Spring)
