October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is proud to support the fight against breast cancer with a series of educational and community-focused activities throughout the month. From a virtual walk to an educational Lunch and Learn, CCMH is inviting patients, staff, and the community to take part in raising awareness about the importance of early detection and support for those affected.
Join the 1.8-Mile Virtual Walk
To highlight the startling statistic that 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, CCMH is hosting a 1.8-mile virtual walk.
Walk on your own anytime, anywhere and complete the 1.8 miles (or more) during the dates of October 12th – 25th. It is free to join us in our virtual walk.
How It Works:
- Dates: October 12 – October 25
- Who Can Join: Open to all patients, community members, and staff
Participants can walk as many 1.8-mile segments as they’d like. Each time you walk 1.8 miles, submit them to us to be entered in a prize drawing.
To Participate:
- Register at the form below.
- Submit your miles here: Click Here (If you need another way to submit your miles, please call 712-265-2522)
- Deadline to submit miles: Tuesday, October 27
For every 1.8-mile walk submitted, participants will receive an entry into a prize drawing to be held on October 31!
