Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is proud to announce the official opening of the newly expanded CCMH Medical Clinic on Monday, February 23, 2026. This opening represents the completion of a major phase in the hospital’s ongoing construction and remodeling project, which began in August 2024.
The new addition provides approximately 14,000 square feet of modern healthcare space. Designed to accommodate the hospital’s growing patient volume—which has nearly tripled over the last decade—the expansion features:
- Private registration bays designed to ensure confidentiality during the check-in process.
- Additional exam rooms and provider offices to support the hospital’s recruitment of new family medicine and specialty physicians.
The building project is being completed in stages to minimize disruption to patient care. While the clinic expansion will be opening, work continues on the remaining interior renovations, with the project on track for completion in early 2027.
Where Should I Go for My Appointment starting February 23rd?
To ensure a smooth transition, patients are asked to use the following entrances based on their specific healthcare visits:
- The New West Entrance (Medical Clinic Expansion): This entrance is exclusively for Family Medicine and Pediatric appointments.
- The North Main Hospital Entrance: Patients should continue to use the main entrance for all other services, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Specialty Clinics, Physical Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Services, Labs, Radiology, and Same-Day Surgery.
While we are thrilled to open this new space for our primary care and pediatric teams, it is important to note that our surgical and specialty providers will remain in their current locations for this phase of the project. CCMH staff will be positioned throughout the facility to assist with navigation and ensure everyone finds their way.
