Dr. Patrick Luft is a board-certified family medicine physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP) who provides comprehensive, full-spectrum medical care. He treats patients in the outpatient clinic, emergency department, and inpatient hospital setting, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care in rural communities.
Dr. Luft earned his Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, completing his clinical training in the United States. While attending medical school, he also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Healthcare from Walden University, enhancing his training in healthcare leadership, operations, and systems-based care.
He completed his Family Medicine Residency at MercyOne Des Moines, where he was selected for the Rural Health Care Track. During the final two years of residency, Dr. Luft trained extensively in Corydon, Iowa, gaining experience in full-spectrum rural medicine, including outpatient care, inpatient hospital medicine, and emergency care.
