When Should You See a Podiatrist?

Foot and ankle problems don’t always go away on their own. Consider talking with the CCMH podiatrist if you experience:

  • Persistent foot or ankle pain
  • Swelling or difficulty walking
  • A change in the shape or appearance of your foot
  • Recurring corns, calluses, or ingrown toenails
  • Pain that limits your normal activities
  • A foot or ankle injury
  • A wound or sore that isn’t healing
  • Changes in your feet related to diabetes

Identify foot and ankle problems early before they become more difficult to treat.
