Ways to Support Brain Health as You Age

Taking care of your brain is an important part of healthy aging. While some memory changes can be a normal part of getting older, healthy lifestyle habits may help support cognitive wellness and overall quality of life.

June is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, making it a great time to learn more about brain health, memory changes and steps you can take to care for yourself or a loved one.

Stay Physically Active

Regular physical activity supports blood flow to the brain and can help with thinking, learning, problem-solving and emotional well-being. Walking, stretching, gardening, group fitness classes or other forms of movement can all be helpful ways to stay active.
