United Bank of Iowa Donates $2,060 to Hospital Foundation of Crawford County

UBI donated to Hospital Foundation of Crawford County

The Hospital Foundation of Crawford County (HFCC) recently received a $2,060 donation from United Bank of Iowa (UBI) to help Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) patients access crucial medical transportation.

The funds were raised through UBI’s ongoing community giving initiative, UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day. Designed to lend a hand to local organizations and support people in need across the bank’s footprint, the program combines employee participation with corporate giving.

On the second and fourth Fridays of each month, UBI employees across all 37 locations can donate $5.00 for the opportunity to wear jeans and their signature “UNITED TOGETHER” t-shirts to work. United Bank of Iowa then matches these employee contributions up to $1,000 per event, donating the total amount to a single non-profit cause randomly drawn from staff suggestions.

Suggested by UBI’s Charter Oak office, HFCC was chosen as the recipient for the June 12 Cause Day donation.

The Hospital Foundation of Crawford County operates with a vision to provide resources that help CCMH adapt to and meet the evolving healthcare needs of the surrounding area.

Through the collective support of UBI team members and bank matching funds, efforts like Cause Day continue to make a tangible impact on critical community services across Crawford County.
