Your Gift Makes a Difference: Supporting the Future of Healthcare through the Hospital Foundation of Crawford County

When you give to the Hospital Foundation of Crawford County, you are doing more than making a donation. You are investing in the people, programs and resources that help provide quality healthcare close to home.

Every gift to the Hospital Foundation of Crawford County (HFCC) directly supports Crawford County Memorial Hospital and the patients, families and staff who rely on it. Funds raised through the Foundation are used to support CCMH’s needs and priorities, helping strengthen the care, services and resources available to our community. The Hospital Foundation of Crawford County provides community members with an opportunity to directly support the future of healthcare in our community.

Investing in the People Who Care for Our Community

One of the ways the HFCC makes a difference is through scholarships for CCMH employees who are continuing their education and building their skills.

These scholarships are an investment in both our staff and our community.

Michael DeLong, a CCMH nurse, received a Hospital Foundation scholarship while earning his associate degree in nursing and working toward his BSN. His story is one example of how support from donors can help healthcare professionals continue growing in their careers while remaining part of the CCMH team.

Kendra Hartwig, another CCMH scholarship recipient, also experienced the impact of Foundation support as she continued her education and professional development. Her story highlights how a scholarship can make a meaningful difference not only in someone’s education, but also in their personal and professional journey.

These opportunities are made possible because community members choose to invest in the Foundation. By supporting staff education, donors help strengthen the healthcare team serving Crawford County and the surrounding communities.

You can hear more about Michael’s experience on the Here’s to Your Health podcast and Kendra’s story as well.

Consider Joining the Thousand Club

For those looking to make a larger investment in the future of local healthcare, the Foundation’s Thousand Club offers an opportunity to make a $1,000 gift.

The Thousand Club brings together donors who want to make a significant investment in healthcare and the community it serves. Donating to the Thousand Club can be done in one lump sum or quarterly payments.

The Foundation offers several other ways to give, including support for staff scholarships, equipment, the Healing Garden, the Employee Assistance Fund, transportation projects and other areas of need.

Every Gift Has a Story

Perhaps you or someone you love has received care at CCMH. Maybe a member of your family works here. Or you simply believe that our community deserves access to quality healthcare close to home.

Whatever inspires you to give, your generosity helps strengthen healthcare for the people of Crawford County.

The Foundation accepts donations throughout the year, and gifts can be made in a variety of ways, including cash, grain commodities, gifts in honor or memory of someone, real estate, life insurance, personal property, bequests and securities.

Invest in Healthcare Close to Home

The future of healthcare is built by people who believe in their community.

When you support the Hospital Foundation of Crawford County, you help create opportunities for our healthcare professionals, strengthen CCMH and contribute to the continued growth of healthcare close to home.

Your gift can help make the next success story possible.
