(Denison, IA) – Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) and staff were recently honored at the 23rd Annual Night of Excellence Summit Awards Celebration in Orlando, Florida. The HealthCare Service Excellence Conference (HCSEC) is an annual event presented and organized by Custom Learning Systems Group Ltd. Custom Learning Systems is recognized as a leading expert in helping organizations transform their service delivery by creating a 5-star culture of healing kindness and accountability.
Four CCMH staff members were the recipients of Pinnacle Achievement Awards and Summit Awards at the celebration. Pinnacle Award recipients from CCMH were Dr. Michael Luft, Customer Focused Physician; Jill Kierscht, NP, Customer Focused Provider; Dana Neemann, RN, Exceptional Nurse; and Danielle Watts, RN, Exceptional Employee.
Dr. Michael Luft went on to win a Summit Award. Summit Awards, the highest award of excellence presented at the HCSEC, are awarded to qualified, innovative, and progressive individuals, teams, and healthcare facilities who have made outstanding progress towards improving patient experience and staff engagement.
CCMH was also recognized for a record-breaking 92 Breakthrough Awards for improvements in patient satisfaction survey scores.

In 2023, the HCSEC Summit Awards committee received over 260 nominations from healthcare organizations spanning 11 states.
