Mental health is an important part of overall health, and no one should feel like they have to face life’s challenges alone.
At Crawford County Memorial Hospital, we are committed to supporting the emotional and mental well-being of our community through care for individuals and families of all ages. From counseling and therapy services to specialized support for older adults, our goal is to help people find hope, healing, and encouragement close to home.
Why Mental Health Care Matters
Life can bring stress, anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, depression, and unexpected challenges. Sometimes these feelings pass with time. Other times, additional support from a therapist can make all the difference.
Getting help with mental health concerns is just as important as seeking care for physical health concerns. Talking with a trained professional can help individuals develop coping skills, process difficult emotions, improve relationships, and regain a sense of balance and hope.

CCMH’s Senior Life Solutions program is specifically designed for adults typically age 65 and older who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges often associated with aging. The program offers intensive outpatient group therapy, individual support, medication education, family involvement, and after-care planning tailored to each participant’s unique needs.
Signs that someone may benefit from support include:
- Persistent sadness or grief
- Loss of interest in activities
- Difficulty sleeping
- Anxiety or excessive worry
- Feelings of hopelessness
- Changes in appetite or energy
- Difficulty coping with life changes
The Senior Life Solutions team includes a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed therapists, a registered nurse, and other professionals dedicated to helping older adults improve their quality of life while remaining connected to their community.
